Timing gear AJ82467
WantedEngine - Internals
Thanks for your reply Robert.
The photo is of the old style sprocket. I am looking for the updated version which began with 4.0l cars manufactured after 07/01 and was used in the 4.2l cars to 2009.
The updated version uses a “quiet” primary chain with the cam sprocket having a gear for the primary chain and a roller chain type sprocket for the secondary chain.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of the gear/sprocket. My engine has the old style and I am looking to upgrade to the newer style found on the later 4.0l and 4.2l engines
Robert Laughton posted a photo on the thread of an early style sprocket. The version I’m looking for has a toothed gear for the larger primary gear.
