Description:

For sale is a UAD Wireless Apple Carplay And Android Auto Interface For Jaguar F-Type 2013-2017

Was removed from a 2016 F-Type prior to sale due to a faulty IDCORE box. After shipping back the old unit to the UK, UAD sent out a new one instead as they were unable to process a refund after 90 days. IDCORE box is new, the wiring was removed from my 2016 Jaguar F-Type, the instructions are not included but can be found online or on YouTube.

Paid $750+ after taxes and shipping, plus cost of shipping back to the UK for the return - I am asking for $550 shipped (OBO). Below is the link to UAD's website for this particular set-up.

Hi I may be interested assuming it fits my F-Type 2017
I am relatively local living in South Atlanta. I will be in Columbus on Friday evening to visit the staff at the Piedmont Northside hospital there.
I have not yet looked at install on it. Is it done through the back of the Armrest/Cubby?
Thanks

Would be very convenient if you were already here and we could save out on shipping.

The install is done to the rear of the head-unit (navigation screen), with two cords run under the center console trim (just tucked in) to the armrest where it attaches to the AUX out.

The top trim is removed to reveal screws that allows head-unit removal, and then the IDCORE is plugged into the back with the provided harness. Two cords (AUX Out and USB IN) are run under the center console panel into the armrest where they connect. Test, reinstall and you’ve got wireless CarPlay/Android Auto.

UAD has videos of the install on YouTube, took me about 2 hours to do it the first time, but when I went back for removal, whole process took just over an hour having done it before.

Sadly this is not the version that fits mine

Thanks for posting. I thought it was Karma that you were in Columbus!

Good luck!

Sent you a PM regarding the unit but didn’t get anything back. Still for sale?
