This is an upgraded thermostat with lower temperature of 180° vs factory 190 for 2007 to 2009 4.2 XKR and all others I believe XJR that use the three piece thermostat design. This thermostat eliminates the factory rubber surround which is a major failing point of the OEM. Made by MotoRad
