Selling my 1995 Jaguar Vanden Plas. A true British luxury sedan from the last years of hand-built Jaguars. This is the long-wheelbase X300 body, fully loaded, and equipped with the legendary AJ16 straight-six engine.

I bought it from Copart in August 2025 as a project and have since invested time and parts to bring it back to reliable running condition. Odometer and VIN have been verified through AutoCheck and Bumper reports; clean title, no salvage history, no theft, and only minor cosmetic history reported (light left-side damage in 2021, professionally repaired).

Runs, drives, and idles smooth. Cold A/C. The suspension has been updated with all four new shocks and bushings, and it rides tight and quiet. Cooling fans, relays, and pressure switches have been inspected per the Jaguar service bulletin. This car has NO dash warning lights. Airbag module, ABS, nothing. Everything has been fixed and is mechanically sound.

Cosmetic Condition

I’ve already purchased Eastwood epoxy primer and factory-match Jade Green paint (code HEV) to complete the job; that will go with the sale if not already painted. The rest of the body is straight and rust-free. Interior is all original HEZ trim — leather is intact and dash veneer is beautiful for its age.

The Bad
Steering extend motor works but rod is broken, wheel does not extend. 
Memory seat and mirror function does not work properly
headliner and roof trim in passengert rear sagging slightly
trunk CD player will not load disc
passenger door speaker crackles slightly
passenger front turn signal cover broken, but covered with yellow tape
console cup holder works but is very loose and flimsy 

Why Sell

This has been a fun and rewarding project, but I’m ready to move on to my next one. The car is now running, driving, very reliable with a lot of life left and very close to being show-ready mostly cosmetic and minor repairs left. I just drove it on a 600 mile road trip with no issues. drives like a dream, quiet and smooth. Crusie control works great.
