Description:
2007 JAGUAR XKR premium package: - had the car listed back in Dec 2022 for a friend before I took ownership. previous listing here 2022, Dec
Navigation Bluetooth rear view camera (Added) / car play (removable) / added Bluetooth AUX for mobile phone connections my iPhone 16 connects through hands free and plays through the car speakers on aux or use the car play over WiFi and have full glass panel access to movies and content. .
interior is an 8 out of 10
Exterior paint is a 9 out of 10 - Bumped a Coyote on the high way nothing broken just some pressure points in bumper barely noticeable)
The original Radio navigation and all accessories work as expected.
The Car drives and performs exceptionally
New Michelin tires - Full Size spare (front Wheel)
Built in Integrated Alarm system with Radar and Battery cut off when locked - press button on door and ALL power is OFF.
I love this Car and only reason it is for sale is I am getting older and you can't take it with you. Needs a younger owner with a garage to keep it.
I have the Laptop and softare to maintain this car and the FULL Service Manual from DVD to PDF (Panasonic tough Book with the SDD LDR and Cable with KESS Software. The ECM has been default programmed with the safety tables added back.
When the Battery drops to low volts and ALL the Systems lose their program - the software will quickly re-calibrate and everything is as it was just need to have the patience to work through the program dashboard and have the battery maintained at 13.6 volts for the software to work.
Example the driver seat was stuck in the reclined position - connect the Land Rover Cable LDR and the Software and re calibrate the seat - done - windows re-calibrate done - brakes same headlights same all re calibrate with he software.
Oil Changes every 3k-4k miles
Transmission fluid changed at 56K miles new filter and Aluminum Oil Pan installed still have the original plastic pan.
Have spare parts for the lower control arms - and extra mirrors and mini control panel as those buttons can wear out.
have an extra passenger door panel to match as spare part.
Coolant Changed at 56k miles when engine pulled to fix the timing issues see below.
NO Spare Tire components - 2nd Owner built a woofer box and amplifier setup in the spare tire well and Dynamat the entire car with sound proofing
When getting transmission fluid changed the dealership decided to detail the car and run car through their auto car wash with antennae up - antennae ripped off the car, I have the original Antennae but the body grommet was destroyed - Antennae works (repaired) but is disconnected and put a high gain short antennae in its place to cover the hole - looks better appearance wise.
Sorted past - if you do a Car FAX there are some discrepancies in this cars history.
NO Accidents - Although it did have under carriage damage to the left front from previous owner ran off road back in 2020 Fully repaired.
Previous owner road raced the car unaware a previous owner removed the safety tabels in the ECM and over revved the engine putting the timing out a few degrees not to mention a previous repair did not use NEW bolts and the oil cap on the VVT was loose so this car HAD a lot of gremlins but the only issue now is a seeping gasket so occasionally you get some hot oil aroma but does not drip on the ground and moist under the car - just use the Foamy engine cleaner to keep it clean. .
NO Engine Damage - or Valve train damage - although the VVTs and VVT solenoids were damaged and replaced, All timing components replaced with Jaguar Dealer Parts, ALL Parts were painted silver engine paint prior to reassembly.
New catalytic converters installed at 56K miles, There is video recording of ALL work done to the engine - All injectors pulled and cleened at 56K miles
Super Charger oil change serviced at 56K miles - only issue car has is if left to sit for a long period:
1. battery tender is needed
2. start the car then shut it off and then restart otherwise the ECM records a misfire on initial start - after that if you start it and let idle more frequently its fine only after siting more than a week it has a rough start.
3. when lightly hitting the brakes there is a little shimmy in the steering wheel I have replaced rotors, new Jaguar Wheel hubs and had the brakes checked it is just what it is has a little shimmy when gently pressing brakes - stops quick and straight with direct pressure.
4. I drove the car on a 2500 mile road trip through Alabama and back to Texas without issues.
I would trust this car to California and back.
