I know the XJ-S doesn't get a lot of love, but I have an excellent condition, low mileage model for sale that I'm looking to sell to free up space in the garage. Starts right up every time and drives like a dream.

Purchased in 2008 with ~16,200 miles from a classic car dealer in Oregon, whom I believe had it on consigment. The car was originally purchased from Monte Shelton Motor Company in Portland, Oregon, where the original owner lived. From what I have been able to gather, I'm the third owner although the second owner only had it for a very short period. It has been garaged here in Central Texas for the last 12 years, and only driven occasionally, adding roughly 500 miles/year on average.

Did some local showing in the first few years of ownership, and have placed first and second in the "driven" class.

Everything on the car is original, including the paint and convertible top. Small dent repair to the driver's door was performed a few years ago with perfect color matching.

The car sits on Dayton wire wheels (with matching spare).

The only known defects/blemishes:
- AC is not cooling (leak test performed in 2008 with no leaks found, system recharged, but only worked well for a short time thereafter)
- small rust spot on top of the rear bumper
- crack in the varnish right behind the gear shift lever
- motorized antenna works intermittently and needs a new rubber mount to avoid water leakage
- passenger window needs a little help going back up (motor works, but window tends to get stuck in the down position)
- currently has the incorrect (slightly too tall) battery installed, which prevents the battery cover from being installed
- incorrect driver's side mirror glass, it's for a right-hand drive car (old one had a cracked mount, and the mechanic was unable to source the correct part)
- I do not have the convertible boot cover

Other than regular maintenance over the years (oil, filters, fluids), the following items have been replaced during my ownership:
- Hood and trunk lid struts
- Fuel sump tank filter pickup screen (also flushed the sump tank)
- Fuel pump and filter
- Power steering hoses
- Shock bushings
- Inlet fuel pressure regulator and butterfly bushings

The tires were last replaced in 2012 at just under 20K miles.

Full service history available since the car was new. Clean TX title.
