Short wheelbase, Garage Kept, Non-smoker, Enthusiast-Owned and Maintained since 2011, Spindrift White exterior, Oatmeal Leather interior, 4.0L v8, Automatic Transmission. All maintenance receipts since new. This was my daily driver up until 2017 when I updated to a newer Jaguar.

All of the potentially catastrophic Jaguar issues have been addressed including the primary and secondary timing chain tensioners updated to the newer design along with new timing chain guides. Also the transmission valve body has been upgraded with the Sonnax sleeve and new valve piston to prevent A-drum failure. Recent work included removing the engine and replacing ALL of the gaskets and seals so there are no leaks. While the engine was out, replaced the part-load breather hose, heater hoses under the intake plenum and the famous "octopus hose" along with the power steering return hose. Also recently replaced the fuel pump so most of the very expensive repairs that a Jaguar of this age typically needs have been done and its ready for another 100K miles.

Everything functions as it should. Cosmetically, its been inside most of its life so the exterior paint is shiny on all surfaces. The bumper covers have a few scratches that have been touched up. The leather is completely intact, but showing some age. Carpet has remained protected under floor mats which are still in decent shape. Southern car so there's not a spec of rust anywhere. It probably looks more like a four or five year old car than twenty. I've taken it to few car shows (especially summers since my older classics don't have air conditioning) and it always gets compliments. I've taken dozens of high resolution pictures available upon request.

I'd keep this XJ8 but I have a long wish-list of other cars I want to experience owning, mostly sports cars, and don't have room for all of them. Adoption fees of $5,500. Very important to me that it goes to a good home with a garage and another gearhead enthusiast owner. Contact via PM.
