Description:

1995 Jaguar XJ12 6.0 Finished in Black with cream Leather interior. Covered just 62,000 miles from new with comprehensive service history. The history file includes many invoices for servicing and works carried out that date back to when the car was new. Presented in outstanding condition throughout, this car has been cherished by both of its former owners. It belonged to my boss and was used daily to commute into town, the car was kept in a covered garage and was regularly serviced by Jaguar. Since I have owned her she has been kept in an air conditioned humidity controlled warehouse with several other classic cars. She runs and drives beautifully, the big 6.0 V12 is just wonderful on the freeway and an incredibly smooth pussycat around town. However, that 350hp V12 can really get up and go if you feel the need. There's an old saying that you need two Jaguars, one to drive and the other to keep in the repair shop. That hasn't been my experience at all. Since Ford acquired Jaguar in the 1980s they have improved the quality and reliability of Jaguars immensely, without sacrificing the good looks. The only time I have had a problem was when one of the front tires went flat up on a bridge.
The leather is in good condition, the woodwork is almost perfect with one or two hardly noticeable small cracks. A never-smoked-in before beauty that looks great, she still has that luxurious leather smell . Apparently one of the rarest and shortest production XJ models. Exceptional 10/10 mechanical and 8/10 cosmetic condition except the hood, which in the last twelve months has started developing some lines/checkmarks it is due to over aggressive buffing! She acquired a little white overspray from being parked next to a shipyard a while back and it seems one of their boys managed to weaken the clearcoat, fortunately only in this area though, a hood re-spray will probably be needed at some point in the future. I'm very disappointed with this. I do however at the moment have a clear ceramic 9H hardness coating on the hood which will give about three years protection from UV and the elements. Very low original mileage and as the third loving owner I will be sad to see her go. I really don't drive her enough and she really needs someone to enjoy her thoroughly.
These V12's are very lowly stressed and have a history running well over 100,000 with no issues whatsoever. The transmission has the Jaguar overbuilt feel and shifts like a new car. FYI I've never had a mechanical issue since owning her! The chassis underbody and everything else is in A1 Perfect condition no rust anywhere at all!
Almost new tires all round, very little wear. The engine compartment is very clean, and free of any leaks. I'm pricing her accordingly with regards to the hood, these are going for about $10500 and I'm asking $9000 or nearest offer. So, If you are looking for arguably one of the most beautiful cars ever made and a piece of automotive history then you will be very pleased.

Call me at 504 400 8860 I will be happy to discuss in further detail.
12/17/2018 - I'm dropping the price to $8500 as I would like to make some space and curiously haven't had any interest so far, this is the only place I have listed, I really want her to go to an enthusiast, However If I have no takers then I'll probably list her on Ebay later on in January.

That's a fantastic looking car and a great write-up about it. I'd like to own it. But dang, I've already got one! I can attest to the quality of the car and yours looks like an excellent example, even for a collector. Have you got any of the big auto auctions in New Orleans? It could create a lot of interest at a live auction. Then there's ebay. Wide audience, but less enthusiasm and few honest actual buyers. Recommend setting a reasonable reserve, and be prepared to relist it several times. Good luck!
