Looking for a clean E-Type (US/Canada) for personal use, I have been wanting one to go together with my '82 XJS and '62 MK2.
WTB Series 1 or 2 XKE in good condition for a fair market price (not trying to steal one but will not pay insane dealer retail). Honest vehicles after extended storage, or in a need of some restoration are ok but not interested in the following:
- no 2+2
- no automatics
- no rust buckets
- no trash that was dolled out by some shady dealer with a bunch or spray cans
- no bondo infused barn finds that just got a quick re-spray and now called a "mint survivor", if car has some rust so be it, I am not afraid of some welding

I would prefer to buy one from a fellow enthusiast but it does not matter, as long as the car is straight.
My apologies to anyone innocent who is offended by my tone but I am really tired of all the shady business going around these cars.
