I'll do just that (drive 4.2 + 5.0).
If I find the 5.0 is a must buy I may wait until fall...the only way I can justify owning them is to pay cash and it seems I'm financially challenged this quarter.

I have a relative that purchased an XF recently, it has the 3lt, 240 hp/8sp combo. I drove it (hard) and it is great ...and...almost quick enough for me. He then added a software upgrade which bumped the engine to 424hp...I drove it...that is adequate for my desires although more is always more.
This leads me to conclude that if I could find a super nice 2007~2009 4.2 xkr the stock power output would satisfy me. The question for me then deals with the driving differences. Gadgets don't don't anything for me but if a 5 litre xkr drives/handles/shifts better than the older version I'd be inclined to wait until I gather enough $ to purchase one of those. I am assuming that since you were looking for a replacement you probably drove various ones..
I am hoping you might share your thoughts.

dO you still have the 3d rear light (center), if so, how much? also, do you have the glove compartment? I broke my lock portion. looks like I have to replace the whole thing. Need Oatmeal color??? Thanks.

Hi DSD, did you every check and see if you had the nav screen. You also mentioned doing a 3d print of the plastic surround. I have been talking to someone here about about doing the same. Have you pursued this at all, if so do you have a model of the plastic screen surround?
