    Bruce,
Sounds plausible but I haven't had any belt chirp myself.
That said I have driven in heavy rain only once or twice since fitting the Mina Gallery lower intake system.

Mate, could I trouble you with a question as you are probably the techiest person I see here.

When I had the CAI installed my guys (who I think you have previously observed might not deserve my loyalty) replaced a pulley and belts and battery, which is when the electronics shat itself which they maintained had nothing to do with what they did. So anyway a new aircond compressor later, car is fine but I had belt chirp from the new belts which I have worked out happens after I drive in heavy rain, then goes away only if some of the C2C or whatever is sprayed. So I think a possibility is that taking off the filter boxes for the CAI might have led to more open area for water to splash up in heavy rain, hitting the belts.

You ever come across this before?

Gooday. If you want a little clip of the sound from the filter, let me have your mobile number or messenger address. It is only about 5 seconds so it should go through text.

    Cheers

Hey, I saw in your signature bar that you are running an XFR with an XFR-S tune. My XJ will be out of warranty in a few days, so I'd like to run the Supersport or XJR tune as opposed to the stock Supercharged tune I have now. Did you do the tune yourself, refer to the dealer, or go elsewhere? Just want to get some info on who to turn to.

    Thanks in advance.
