Thank you, appreciate you taking your time to respond to my queries and in such details. I agree the HR Springs drop is too much for me as well. I would want to say I'll grab those springs off you if you decide not to use them in the future, however mine is the base F-type.

Last, with the recent change to Storm Wheels (from Gyrodynes), and the addition of the spacers which occurred at the same time, it appears my car is sitting lower as a result... Nothing changed other than the wheel has more black with the black body, and of course the tires are pushed out closer to the fender, but the gap between fender and tire definitely appears smaller, and more attractive, so that in conjunction with the other items above has me reconsidering the modification.

I would not ever consider putting on the HR Springs. Too aggressive of a drop. Looks "Ghetto" to me...

    Several reasons:
The dealer wants way too much money to change springs.
I have not been able to find a local, independent mechanic that is a) reliable, and b) has performed this before on an F-Type. I know there are some specialized concerns regarding the electronics and the sensors, and I would rather use someone who has successfully done this before on an F-Type rather than be someone's guinea pig. To be fair, I have not looked super hard either.
I am concerned about the fenders rubbing with the current tire spacing. I already had the interior lips of my fenders rolled up, but still wary, and would hate to slice the rubber on a tire with a lot of good miles left.

May I know your concerns about installing them? I, too, am contemplating whether to install the springs..

I have Velocity AP springs, but not installed yet. Not sure if I will...

How about your springs? Have you installed the lowering springs or kept them stock?

Yes. 17mm spacers in front. 15mm spacers in back.
I may be the only forum member running different spacers Front and Rear. The Reason... I'm running stock size Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in the front (for better steering control), but 10mm wider 305 PSS in the rear (for better traction and looks). Wider tire with 17mm spacers will rub.

Hi IronMike, I would like to ask if your wheels are spaced out with stock springs? Thank you. Btw, love your placement of the J A G U A R!
