Hi, in one of your older posts you mentioned ditching the distributor on your XJS and going with customized coil packs did you ever get around to that?

Sorry for tardy reply (all is mad here at Christmas and new year with kids and me being a musician etc...).
Thanks for the kind words about my XJS. Yes, it's a beaut'. Getting a thorough engine overhaul before the trip to the MOT station (first in 5 years...long time standing still).
The exhaust tips are "RIPSPEED" stainless steel slant cut, model number 379669. No rust issues, but need a regular buffing up. No difference to performance or sound, but look lovely (in my opinion).
Halfords used to sell RIPSPEED I think, but I've been living here in Spain for 15 years now, so I don't even know if Halfords still exists, or if it does, if it has become yet another nasty Chinese Tat outlet....
