Interesting. Mine is not in museum condition like the other one but has a few other things. Grill, wheels, lambs floor mats, etc.

I will be getting bumpers painted next week and ready to let it go. I have done ungodly amounts of work to it and at the end of day it is not what I really want. The car is just too soft for me. I actually bought an XJR before I got this (both within 2 weeks) and ended up selling the other and keeping this one. I regretted it before it was even gone. I really want an XJR (smaller, lighteer, not as much chrome, tighter seats, etc.) and was planning to even mod that a bit to make it sportier. A SVP is just too far to get where I want.

I cant believe he cant even get that much for it. Chance I will be under water with price and parts into it, not counting the hundreds (yes, multiple hundreds) of hours in labor.

    Best of luck

    Sorry for the late response.

No, not yet, between the holidays and work things have been kind of lacking in his progress of selling and so far has gotten a couple low-ball offers from people that basically know nothing about these cars. I mentioned to him (and as I'm sure you know) that the niche for these Jags is fairly small with the general public knowing little to nothing about the quality of these machines, especially his which is one of the nicest x308's I've seen. Hoping craigslist will bring him a little more luck...
