    Hey Phil,
I also have an '06 SuperV8. At 150,000 Kim’s I lost the water pump, causing a head gasket to fail. Long story short, I’ve had to change out the cylinder block, three pistons, pump, lots of bearings, and a myriad of other parts. I’ve run into many strange things and I’m not out of the woods yet. Good luck on your engine.

It took half a dozen attempts to get the 125 full downloaded, but it finally did on Internet Explorer's third try and I got the other files downloaded in FireFox. The Sony is charging and I have the files copied to a thumb drive for a trial installation.

I am beginning to think I should have gone with one of the $150 Jaguar/land Rover specific scanners instead of "cheeping out" on this Chinese Bit of crap. Oh well, I did finally get the sway bar bushings installed so maybe this will eventually work too.

Thanks again for all your help.

    No problem,
I had a blow out on my mongoose too. Heaven knows what I didi to not allow it to communicate with the car any more. I haven't touched it for a couple of weeks now as I was sick to death of installing, uninstalling, rebuilding and testing only to find it didn't work.
I may go back and have a bash again to day to be honest.
