Had to take out the two air guides inside the grill which hold in the two metal
cross hatch grills. Used pieces of tubing cut and folded to secure those grills in place very securely.

I added an upgraded IC pump.

I was replacing many hoses at the time and used a good original hose to connect the new IC radiator.

Also added an adjustable thermostat to separately control the 2 six inch fans.

I used larger tie wraps to hold the fans in place and rubber feet that ame with the radiator to help support it on the cross beam.

I also made sure that I could still access the tabs from the grill to press down and allow one to pull the grill out.

The radiator I bought was on Ebay and I believe it was taken out of a Ford Lightening as almost brand new. It was taken out as a larger one was being fitted and I think this procedure is not uncommon.
So It was not designed for the 2005 XJR and I had to make modifications for it to fit.
I had to saw off a big bracket that went around the Lightening radiator.
Modified the Jaguar hood latch release by taking off the plastic handle leaver but still able to release the hood easily.
