    I did all the work myself, although it did involve some trial and error. I wanted to document & share it so that others could avoid some of the frustration I encountered along the way.

    Hi Ray, thanks for sharing the details on the Nav tool installation and upgrade, did you do it all self or have a car electrical guy help you? i am based here in the Bay area and looking at someone to help with my car electricals however have not been able to find anyone reliable, any suggestions would help - I own a 2010 XF and the current issue i am trying to work on is with the electricals to the truck of my car that would not open and let me lock the car with the FOB ( i can only open it with the metal key)
