Scott, I want to thank you for saving me a lot of stress. I've been admiring this car for around a month now and was actually considering buying it. Downsides on my end were getting it transported to Maine and it not having a sunroof. Now that you have witnessed a noticeable scratch on the spoiler I feel a little better about passing on it. It is without question the best deal on an R in the entire country and the paint choice is stunning. Living in southern California affords you a wide section of professional paint shops that could fix the scratch for a reasonable price. Would it still be visible to the discerning eye, possibly. But it may well be worth the deal the BMW folks will give you on an otherwise low mileage pristine Jaguar. Good luck with your decision, Jim
