Hi- Saw your post on replacing/installing Jaguar Front upper shock/strut mounts.
Would appreciate any help and detail you can provide?
I have read on this forum some folks did not compress the spring but just jacked up the vehicle to a height where the front wheel was barely touching the ground?--- and then just disconnected the shock mount from the fender well ?
My plan was to purchase just the Urethane mounts and press the old ones out and press the news ones in -- I only have a 6 ton press and wanted your opinion if that is sufficient. If not I could take them to a local machine shop to press out.
