Al,
If you are serious about owning an early XJS, let me know. I have a beautiful 1976 that I have owned since 1989. I have my eye on a 2009 XKR and my wife won't let me get another jag unless I rid myself of one. This car looks like the sister of your car in terms of color- Red paint, biscuit leather and a black canvas top. Yes, this is a 76 xjs convertible. It was converted to a convertible in 1991 and at the same time was restored - new paint, leather, exhaust, suspension, radiator, etc. It has only had use as a fun car since and always garaged and never rained on. It is fully capable of being driven to Dallas and is yours for $3000 including all my spares which have some nice goodies.
