Another member from Singapore
I have just purchased a Daimler Super Eight 2007 model.
I live in Singapore where I work as an engineer.
I believe the Daimler Super Eight is the same as a Jaguar VDP Super 8.
I am interested in hearing about how to convert maps into Navteq formats as Navteq/Jaguar has not made the navigation disk for Singapore.
I was thinking that I could take an original UK based DVD navigation disk and modify it so that it could read map information converted into Navteq format. Ie I keep the *.KWI files and change the *.IDX files.

Hi Daimler2007
As you can see from the nil replies so far, there are few, even no people on this forum who know anything about SatNav data. If Jaguar are going to sell in China and the Far East, they will have to do better than this, as the Chinese car market is now the biggest in the world, bigger than the US.

Hi Daimler welcome aboard, good to have you here.
Please bear in mind hough this is the new member section and you're unlikely to get the best responses here.....please try in the relevant section for possibly better luck
You might find the off topic good for fun, maybe check out the mug shot thread and add yours?
Some really good guys and great techs, top vendors offering good pricing levels and great service, and more to come....all good
In the meantime I've upgraded you manually to full forum access so you can better view the site
