Gotta get this jag straightened out. 1995 XJS, 4.0 liter, automatic
Have had a ton of work done over the past years. and here's my major problem besides the brakes that just started acting up, as was mentioned earlier post.
The Jag has a engine skip. running smooth then suddenly loses power then skipping, step down on the gas a bit it strats to smooth out for a second or two, then goes back to rough, idelling rough like spark, or trashy injector.
Problem is the car is never consistant. Again, turn it off, remove key, restart and it's perfect, once warmed up it suddenly goes into a rough running mode, step down on gas, it smooths out, then a skip. bubbley sound in the exhaust, rough idel, then smooths out again. NEVER consistant action.

I have spent thousands on this Jag, and to this day, the same problem.

Any idea's would certainly be welcome.
