Hello Everyone,

I appreciate the valuable Jaguar information members have put up here. I own a 1998 XJ8, British Racing Green. I registered two days ago after I found the possible solution to my current problem via Google; I could not open my hood all of a sudden. I bought the Jag about 9 years ago when it still had the factory warranty. I also bought an extended warranty for 10 year, 100k miles through Warranty Gold, but they went bankrupt one month after my factory warranty expired; I lost my $3K.

I like my Jag, and I want to keep it running great. I like fixing my cars but Jaguar repair information is pretty hard to come by. A lot of mechanics that I have used have not really done good jobs. The dealership simply ask too much money. That is why I am really glad that I found this forum. I will put up the pictures once I could drive it out of my garage.
