I am a happy new owner of a 1995 xjs droptop. I just signed up for this today, as i believe I will need lots of information on the care & feeding of my 'new' cat. My first 2 items is advice on wheels & advice on fixing or repairing the front (lower) air dam

It is the 4 liter 6. It is so smooth, I hate to drive it because it can't get better than this. Oh well, I'll have to force myself

 

That 6 is called the AJ16. It is, by far, one of the best inline 6s Jaguar ever built. It is a very good engine.

I have my eye on a 96 XJS V12. Convincing my wife I need another Jag which would make it #4 is getting harder and harder.
