Hi! New to the forum, I found this car in an upcoming auction starting at 8K US. Any thoughts? Looks pretty rough and not original, but know very little about it, does not appear functional. Will find out more next week.

 

Looks like a VW based replica, which sadly are the bottom of the barrel, in terms of replica options
The more authentic copies have the engine in the front, suicide doors, six-cylinder English engines, etc.
