1998 XJR Gas Cap

Greetings,

I have a 1998 XJR in need of a gas cap (wife left it at the gas station...really).
I have bought several online and at the dealership, but they don't fit. The part # I have bought in the past is NJD5942BB, but it is just a bit too big to fit. Anyone else run into this or have the correct part/solution?

Go to your local junkyards and see if there are any 98 XJRs that don't need their gas caps anymore...lol.

i have a good used one on in my tool box. i change it cause a xk with a xj gas cap causes evap codes. to different seal styles. the cap is 100% good. asking $25 ship
