Guys I'm still going to get Riski's request made if anyone would like to rock it. The proceeds from his intake will goto his family.

The pipe looks quite nice, I was wondering why you are using such a heavy clamp as there is no pressure just vacuum. I have used a few different intake pipes on my XKR a never had a problem with standard clamps. Here are a few examples

Natural habit of over engineering not to mention the broad clamp distribute the clamping force across a larger surface area and less chance of the clamps cutting into silicone.

Great pics Nixx! Mafioso those are some bad *** Intakes! Only thing that scares me are those screws on the clamps. I just feel they will cause damage to the hood by them being soo long. Thats the only concern I think there is to it other than that they look awesome!

Agreed. Smaller clamps that are more easily hidden would look better.....

On a related note...what would be the feasibility/practicality of doing the same for the exhaust tubes? Here's a link to the Jet Coat site that some might be interested in. Wouldn't coating the tubes also help in reducing the underhood heat, thereby assisting Mafioso's design?
I don't know how doing this would affect the cats since a bit more heat would be kept internally and then to the cats and O2 sensors.

Jet-Hot coatings are a great idea for exhaust tubing as they can increase the scavenging properties. I wouldn`t want it on my intake as the stuff will attract heat to the covered tubing....

Overall picture. It just sucks that I am waiting for my coils to come in so I can't give it a full test yet

..looks great bro, did you trim down your clamp screws? , I'm guessing you are doing your spark plug change as well since you are changing out your coils?
