Somewhere I was privileged to see a post showing a diagram of the proper mounting bracket vs. the improper bracket installed at the factory. This bracket was an assembly line snafu, performed on L-M series cars, and the wrong dimensions of the improper bracket leads to severe deterioration of the mounting bracket bushing and likely the control arm bushings which in turn results in the clunking noise in the front end. I believe TSB 20413 came out in April 2005, addressing this, but no evidence of any recall was ever noted. While the parts are not terribly expensive, this has likely been a pain and expense to many S-Type owners that have had misdiagnosis for the front end clunk. I know other things can cause similar noise, but this seems to be the primary cause in this production series S-Type. Could somepone locate and email the comparative diagram for the proper/improper mounting bracket, please. All help appreciated. Thanks Stan
