Thought about doing something totally different, swap the v6 for a in line 6 2jz is it something I should go for, or Is it a bad idea?

 

Anything is possible, and ultimately no one can say if it's worth it but you. Me personally, I would love to see that. Go for it!

 

I've yet to hear about any engine swaps that were feasible for reasonable money and offered some significant advantage. Most projects were abandoned part way through and the car sits unwanted and unloved.

Don't let that stop you though.

 

Post pictures if possible. We finally got someone doing it and so far it's been very cool with all the problems he has solved and the ones he is still working on.

It won't be quick or cheap.
