Hot &cold

2000s type.ac on cold air on drivers side . after few minutes pass side turns hot. Stays hot

Here you go. Specifically, run the tests in post #2 to verify proper operation of the Dual Climate Control Valve (DCCV). Sounds like the passenger side is sticking open. Test it first to be sure:
