What is the reason for removing the fuel tank? What is made in USA?

Alternatively learn to use Google, the answers are out there. I have to say I am in complete agreement with NBCat, some people just make no effort to find out what they are looking for and expect it to be handed to them on a plate. You see this all the time on forums and facebook groups.
