Okay boys and girls, who wants STR parts?
 

Hey guys,

Well I've been thinking about doing this for a while but I finally dove into the waters today...

I bought a 2003 STR , 54k, front nose hit from the insurance salvage auctions, since I constantly see guys looking for this or that on here.

I only have pics of the car so far, which I would be willing to post. It's white with a tan interior in good shape. Everything behind the firewall is perfect / unaffected, except for the airbags being blown. I don't know about the condition of the motor yet, so I am withholding comment till I get the car to my garage and inspect it personally. Blower SHOULD be in tact. ;)

I should have the car in my possession and can take pics Monday or Tuesday.

Here's what I have been able to discern so far.

03 STR 54k, White with tan Interior. Leather is good.

Some sort of aftermarket exhaust or at least stupid tips.

Zeus wheels, Rears in good shape, fronts moved due to accident so I reserve my opinion on them.

Brembo Brakes in tact.

Factory NAV car, and it's all there. Dvd drive, nav screen, remote ccm etc.

All doors / glass (except for windshield) in tact.

Passenger side Xenon headlight appears intact, driver is gone.

Basically a complete 54k mile car. I'm sure the cooling system is destroyed, and I don't know about the front accessories so I will reserve comment.

I have the means to part it pretty much down to the bone, and it will be located in central NJ. I can ship most stuff, but for the big clunky pieces, local buyers who can pick up will be given priority.

At this point, I am just putting this out there to get an idea of who would be interested in what. I'm not going to be asking top dollar for everything, I figured it would be an interesting way for me to delve into the salvage market using my dealer license, and at the same time help you guys out.

First come first serve, and I will hold parts for friend...

Dang it I really need an 05+ front bumper. Oh well. How much for the door seal that is attached to the body for the drivers side front? Its the one in your pic from the audio install that is removed to run wires in the wire channel. What about the top end. IE supercharger, coolers, throttle body, intake runner basically everything from the supercharger to the plastic intake tube? If I think of anything else I'll post.

Are 3 of the front passenger side lug nuts available???? Thats what I need :) !!!

Vance, will put you down for the door seal. That air intake tube has moved. Airbox is destroyed, BUT the blower should be ok. Doubtful on the coolers. TB should be ok.

Seriously George, mark me down for the strut covers (sorry boys first to see), the key fob (all I need is the rubber push button part) and maybe the latch covers on the rear parcel, (those are handy if you have to use the latch system for child seats).

i need 2 R emblems if they are okay

So far it looks like:

Rick - strut covers and those parcel shelf pieces
Vance580 - Driver door seal and possibly TB / SC coolers, looking at that pic they don't look that bad.
Quikcat - blower

Chris STR - It sucks especially since there were only like 2200 brought over here, but like you said at least it's donating it's organs to other STR's. It's beyond repair, I thought about it for a hot second.

So what rear suspension stuff do you need :)

interesting, it has PA stickers on it.

yeah mine are faded really bad on the front fenders, my rear one is perfectly fine.

If they aren't ok I'll bring my 2 with me to the meet.

I also need that little black cover that is in the door pull on the drivers rear door. Mines missing I'll try and snap a pic of the passenger side so you know what I'm talking about. It looks like a half circle and it just covers a screw in the pull on the armrest.

It's coming out of Philly Copart Jason. I'm in Central NJ. Not surprising that it ended up there.
