Well just wanted to throw up some pics of the intake I just got a few minutes ago. Threw it on right away. Its the Riski Red (RIP). In case some of you wanted to see what it ended up looking like.

Next time I head up to Michigan I'm gonna have my buddy who did my vinyls for my calipers make me a nice black vinyl with the RIP Riski logo some of you are sporting in your sigs and put it on the intake. |
Gonna see what other red stuff I can add when I do my plugs this weekend and clean my throttle body.
|
Excellent color bruh! I like it! The only thing that kinda scares me are those long screws :icon_emm::icon_emm:but other than that it looks sweet. How long did it take you to get it installed?
|
Oh man, that couldn't have worked out any better as far as colors!

If I see red wire loom, or vaccum lines, I might just throw up a bit in my mouth! :icon_emm: Take care, George |

I love the intake, but please keep in mind this is a Jaguar and not a Honda!

I didnt have Mafioso cut my clamps so you dont have to have them that long. They dont hit anything in the bay or the hood if you put them that way. I will be cutting them down this weekend since I'm gonna be cleaning the throttle body and doing plugs hopefully so I'll have it all ripped apart again and can trim them up. |
NIce pics VANCE!! How does she feel with the intake?

After I clean up the throttle body and put in fresh fluids, filters, and plugs, I'll get a video of some acceleration runs on the private backroads. I am all stock besides this and now a K&N. |
Ahhhhh.....my eyes :icon_eek: !! The bright red looks beastly! I like it. LOlzz@honda comment...its not that bad now George:icon_pimp:. Hey Vance are you going to do a video on the throttle body removal as well as the plugs?
Take care buddy.. |

Hey Vance are you going to do a video on the throttle body removal as well as the plugs? Also are you going to be doing that by pass of the coolant line below the S/C?
Take care buddy.. I can make a video of the throttle body since I will have it out for the plugs video. I will not be doing the coolant line bypass at the moment. My expansion tank is starting to leak at the overflow line. So I'm gonna take care of that before I go bypassing any lines. I dont loose coolant but I can see it sweating out so it will probably leak sometime in the future. So I'm not gonna mess with anything coolant related till I get a change to fix that. |
Looks great Vance!!

Thanks Rick.

Vance you dog! Riski's intake elbow just "bam"s! that engine compartment. Yer STR has shapen up very nicely. The elbow, 3 lb pulley, NGK plugs, and TB coolant by-pass to be done end of next week.

Here is a pic with the engine cover in place.
http://images3a.snapfish.com/2323232...9%3B9336nu0mrj The t-bolts interferred with the engine cover so on the clamp next to the intake I used the t-bolt and put it upside down. On the clamp that goes to the boot next to the intake I used the existing clamp off of the original. The T-bolt was really tight against all the supercharger coolant lines to put under there. |

I still have mine too, I polished my intercoolers a bit though so I like it off.

It is pouring down rain here. I took it up and down our road and the traction control kicked on every time I throttled it even a little with the wet roads. My daughter jumped in it right when she got home from school and wanted to take it out. We live in the country and I could definately hear the intake noise from the house as she pulled out and accelerated down the road. She didn't get on it hard enough to hear the supercharger though. Can't wait for the roads to dry up to go try it.
Is anybody hard resetting the ECU for this? |
