restricted performance
I started my car this morning and . Saw the yellow engine symbol and a flash reading restricted performance.. I know I am due for an oil change. Could this be the reason? Or am I looking at big problems? Thanks in advance.

You have a fault code in the system.

The car has no idea how many miles or months are on the oil. Read the code and see what's what.

Turned out to be several misfires.. all 3 on the passenger side.. just spark plugs?

More likely coils or air leak.

My guess is plugs. The reasoning is that the passenger side is where the oil "pools" in the lower IMT valve housing which is the 1, 3 and 5 cylinders.

If you want to know "for sure", take it to the dealer and pay for repairs. You'll "be sure" that way.
