Default Ruined 2 19" Barcelona rims beyond repair

Those of you that have the 19" optional wheels on your R's are going to want to be really careful around potholes or any kind of bump in the road it seems. The wheel repair guy came back with my other wheel and said there is no way it is ever going to be straight again. So, here we go again. Just ordered another brand new wheel from BBS in Germany. $400 US each which isn't too bad, but still a pain in the ***. On another note, is it pretty dangerous to be driving 90-100mph with a bent wheel? It's not bend THAT bad, but enough to make the steering wheel shake a little bit around 60mph+

How many of you have bent your rims here?

That little vibration you are feeling is dulled through the stearing... you should see what your wheel is doing... *yikes* No, not safe. I'm dealing with it right now as we speek, lol. Gotta consider OEM replacment, or aftermarket. Leaning twards After, my OEM wheels suck!

Join the club. Wheels for these cars are definitely not cheap. The Zeus ones are even more expensive to replace if you can imagine!

Last guy on this forum that got caught doing those speeds in NJ is awaiting his court date and contemplating selling his car because he faces losing his driving privileges for several years.

That's really reasonable. But do they come in the staggered sizes like the Vulcans?

The roads here in the N.E. got hammered last winter and they aren't getting fixed all that well.

These BIG rims and low profile tires are just a disaster in the real world.
I do think 19" looks better on the STR but ... no thanks. I have enough trouble with the stock ones. Chrome? Fuggetaboutit!
