Default S-Type 05 3.0 Charcoal Canister w/ Saliniod

Engine Check light on - need to replace the Carbon Canister w/ Salinide and can't find it anywhere. Dealer Jaguar here in Hollywood claims no longer makes it and they aren't required to make any part after 7 yrs of the make of the Jaguar.
Please anyone advise - Help!

Looks like forum sponsor SNG Barratt can hook you up. Looks a bit pricey though.

Welcome to the forum,
Please post an intro in the new members section when you can.

Did the dealer tell you what the code was? perhaps there is another option.

If the MIL is on, post the codes here if you're requesting help.

Sometimes what appears to be an evaporative canister or solenoid problem may be as simple as a bad seal on the fuel filler cap.

Default Charcoal cannister.

I have had the error code for small evap leak on both my 2004 XK8 and 2008 S-Type and both were solved eventually by carefully examining all of the hoses that are above rthe back axle and finding small cracks in the rubber pipes. On both cars a dealer said it need a whole new vapor cannister system. Also the cannister close valve (CCV) was also a culprit on my XK8. Sometimes I would go 2 months with no code but it never went totally away until I replaced the (CCV). Also I may be wrong but I don't know that you could get the cannister out of the Stype without dropping the rear end.
