Default s-type exhaust swap

I have an 01 stype 3.0 and I would like for it to sound a little better but not too loud. I have a friend that has a v6 mustang and they put a stock exhaust off of a v8 mustang on it and it sounds very good. I was wondering 1) does anyone know of anyone who has done this 2) will the mufflers fit on the v6 3) if so, does anyone have a stock set lying around that they have changed out and would want to get rid of?
in case I threw anyone off im wanting to swap my s-type 3.0 mufflers for the mufflers off of an s-type 4.0

thanks everyone in advance,
Wallace Stone

They should fit but I don't think you will notice any difference in sound

You could try removing the rear silencer altogether, just have a a straight pipe instead
