Hello guys, trying to lower my base s-type for more control. I was looking at the aftermarket h&r springs. I found one for the S-type R and was wondering if it would fit will on the base S-type. They generally cost a lot less, would be great if it fits. Thanks

 

What model? What year? The STR came out in 2003 but there are a lot of things that are interchangeable between the generations.

Do you care about ride and handling? Or just looks?

The R was a complete package and just adding one or two items is sure to get you something unlike either car.

It is a 2003 S type 3.0. Im looking to improve both looks and handling. I will most likely also replaces the shocks/ get new wheels eventually. Not trying to make my car into an S-type R, just trying to add some modifications. The springs i found are these

but a friend is selling them for a fairly lower price, that is why i am inquiring

 

The 2003 should be the same as the STR as far as mounting them.
