Hi, well after changing the inner and outer tie rods, had an issue with the plastic wheel well so had to cut it and then look for a new one. So half is still there on top of wheel. While driving I would hear a noise when hitting a bump in road, the tire would make a sound like it was rubbing against the plastic and would make that somewhat high pitched grinding sound similar to what you might hear with the tire hitting plastic but now thinking that is not the case. Went to the you tube video showing sounds the S type would make and the limited amount he shows of sounds (I am also hearing on occasion the sound he shows the need for a sway bar, kind of making that knocking sound), but this sound I am hearing is different then that. I try bouncing the car but it is stiff. Could it be the strut? It happens just when hitting bumps. Thanks for any help.
