Default Supercharger snout seal

Hi all,

Supercharger's out, and after refilling supercharger oil, when the supercharger was set down at an angle with the snout lower than the body, the oil leaked
out of the snout.

We're thinking the seal needs to be replaced. Any help on where to get the seal and how to replace it is welcome.

We can't believe it should leak out, are we wrong?

Thanks,

Rob

Whoa that doesn't seem good. How many miles on it? When I replaced the oil in mine, I had it vertical as well and no oil leaked out. No idea on how to replace it, but I found one here

Michael,

I just spoke with Jon Bond before I read your post. He said he wouldn't be surprised that the oil had flowed into the snout through a breather hole that
is positioned somewhere in the snout.

His suggestion was to refill it and run the car, and then check the oil level more frequently . He does have all the parts for the snout rebuild.

Not sure what I'll do at this point. I need to get the car back together.
