Gotta love a gt6! This is my back burner at the moment. I've finished the mechanicals, exhaust, interior, inner/outer rockers, 1/4s, and what ever the floors needed. In the search of a semi solid Sunbeam Alpine for a 5.0 stang Tiger clone transplant at the moment. Oh to be a british car junkie

Hahaha so true. Where I lack in monetary gains I make up for with piles of removed rust. Wouldn't have it any other way.....my wife is on the fence, but I wouldn't change it!

I work with a lot of rusty northern ohio cars, and unless a car with that much rust is ether near and dear to your heart or rare its not worth it.however if your determend to fix it,one tip is too use the wheel lip from a damaged front fender to rebuild the rear wheel arches,i don't know if its a dead-on match but should be very close.i did that to a dodge Dakota once and it worked great.steve

Looks to be coming along rather nicely, are you able to get into those areas and spray coat them to prevent rust again? I understand some of the areas are sealed after your done, just wondering about the ones you can get to. Also did you spray anything farther back in to the rail you didn't cut out to convert any rust you may not see farther in?

I'm gona drill several 1/2 holes onto the cavities and use an inspection camera to see the condition of it if I can't access it otherwise. Than rust reformer and undercoating/fluidfilm depending on condition and location.

Looking good! Following this thread with much interest. I bought a small flux-core wire arc welder last year to repair a bashed in rocker panel on my car that needed to be cut and pulled back into shape, but haven't yet attempted any metal repairs this involved.
