My two XKR100's with their more conservative XJR100 brother.
Awesome. Which do you prefer - driving and looks? Having ridden in a friend's XJR100, its funny how differently they did small details of the interior from my XKR100. Surely, such a small limited batch would have had identical trims, gearknobs, and stitching but lots of different touches.
Hi Guys
Thanks for the comments, It was my brother-in-laws car before me. He bought it new in 1997 and speced the light green interia and Dark green roof.
I found a label behind the panels when fitting a new sound system, it was labelled as Nimbus green.
As you see it, it is all totally original paint and hood.
Regards
Wayne
I'm something of a newbie on here although I'll admit to having 'lurked' for a while. The forum's been invaluable to me in sorting out a few minor teething niggles I've had with her since buying her in March, including the head restraint problem.
Here she is anyway, a 2003 4.2 coupé, 112k miles, but drives and handles like new.
Friend and I brought our Jags (mine is XK8, his XK coupe) to the national MG festival in Louisville, KY last week. Scorching hot day, but overwhelming presence of British cars - vast majority MGs of every stripe, of course.
Finally working to get
the Jag back into shape after a few years of mothballs. Forgot how much I love this car. Was able to find a new set of original sport wheels to replace the standard stock I'd had for the last 17 years.
