Just purchase an XF and yet to shoot it but looking forward to gettign a few shots. In the mean time (as long as admins are ok with it....feel free to look up Octane Images on Facebook if you'd like to see motor racing and hot rod photography from New Zealand and Australia).
This photo was taken in the Summer of 1966. The car is a 1956 Jaguar XK120, the trophies are from rallies, motocross and time trials that I and a friend won in such competitions. Oh that good looking guy is yours truly. Now after 50+ years I just bought a 2009 XK...... Watch out World I'm Baaaaack
The photos are just the right size for a forum page. I've been trying to get some of our members to reduce the size of the photos that they post. So many of the pics, especially on a large monitor, is akin to using "ALL CAPS" to make a point. It's like SHOUTING!
Reducing the pixels on submitted photos will go a long way to enhancing the experience for all of us.
If people use the "insert image" tool
to post their images the software will automatically resize the picture and also store it on the forum's servers so it's not lost if a hosting site throws a wobbly a la Photobucket.
