Default Wires cut off...

Hello! Last week I changed the ballast of one of the headlights of my 2023 XF 2.2d. I noticed that there were two connectors (inside the wheel compartment next to the bumper) with the wires cut off as in the photograph (?!?!) Does anyone know what could be turned off at the moment? Thanks in advance,
Pedro Sousa

Now I know what the headlight wires will look like in 2023.

Sorry, couldn't resist and even worse I am of no help here.

I *think* they are the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) front antenna plugs, per this page from the 2010/2011 3.0D Workshop Manual:

If they are, I suspect someone had a problem removing the front undertray and instead of simply undoing the plugs they cut the wires. Either that or they got sick of false TPMS alarms (quite common on the XF) and worked out that cutting the plugs off disabled the system without causing error messages, although I don't know if that would work or not.

Those wires have not been cut - the connector is fitted with a blanking plug (a normal plug with unpunched rubber bungs fitted to each way). It is done because the harness is shared, but your car lacks the sensors. Just clip it back out of the way.
