Default Transmission pan removal steps?

Hi guys I've attached the pictures to show what I need help with. I need to replace a solenoid in the transmission and Richard from JustAnswer helped with the photo but hasn't replied to my msg on the steps to change out the 2/4 brake duty timing somenoid.

Can anyone help give a link or a general idea of the steps I'll have to take to be prepared for? Thanks!

It is actually pretty easy on the jag compared to other cars with the same transmission. I have done it more than once and my shifts are getting better and better.

Search around on the forum for tips on draining the fluid first.

Then remove the battery and battery holder and the front pan is easy to access. Remove it and your solenoids are right there. Easy to swap out if you take your time and are careful.

New gasket doesn't hurt and refill fluid and you are good to go. After battery holder is back in, if course.

Shouldn't take too long.

I put a few links in this post here:
