Question:

Car has 98,000 miles on it.

I replaced all 4 rotors and pads as the rotors looked worn after 15 years.

Car started pulling to the right in the front when braking.

So, I replaced both front calipers.

Now the car pulls to the left in the front when braking.

Could this be a bleed issue?

Maybe a replacement caliper is stuck? You could try swapping the rotors and corresponding pads between the sides and seeing if that makes a difference and the problem follows the rotor. that may also reveal issues with calipers in the r/I process. Alignment maybe or subframe bushings on the way out?

If it's a bleed issue then the pedal would hit the floor with only a few bubbles tucked away at the top on a caliper, the bleed nipple is lower than the inside top of the caliper and air can get trapped even with a vacuum bleed system. I've found removing the caliper and wiring it to the body/suspension so the nipple is uppermost gets that trapped air out.

For your problem it's more likely tires and the wheels sound like they where switched, swap them and see if the issue goes to the other side.

Very early xkr ( maybe xjr as well ) had bigger standard looking discs, the caliper carrier was different but the caliper was the same, I think the pads were the same. Then they went to same size. Or you had the Brembo option.
