For those new to RealGauge, in addition to the coolant gauge upgrade, the module also adds an audible alarm for over temperature and low oil pressure. Great peace of mind!

Steve has very kindly agreed to donate the RealGauge Coolant Gauge Upgrade Kit, MSRP $129.95 to one lucky (X100) XK8/XKR or (X308) XJ8/XJR owner.
The kit comes complete with comprehensive, easy to follow installation instructions and it requires no soldering.
Once Jaguar's factory cooling gauge reaches about 185 deg F, the instrument cluster forces the gauge to remain at mid-scale until the temperature reaches approximately 235 to 240 deg F. The risk of overheating is obvious and the consequences can be a destroyed engine. RealGauge will let you see normal fluctuations in temperature as you drive.
