was carbon fiber a factory option?
iownme, as I recall, it was only an option on the Sport versions. Hard to say what the car is as it looks like from the other pictures I have seen that someone has done some painting of parts to give it a blacked out look.
The carbon fiber/alcantara option was available starting in 2005 on the Sport models. I had that in my car. Everything looks stock about it, except the lower dash on the passenger side and the top of the dash is a lighter color. Not sure what is going on there. Maybe the previous owner replaced something or painted it that way.
I loved the way that interior looked and was one of the main things the car had to have before I bought it. Pretty rare too.

as long as it was an option i'll take the dealers word that its original.
i'm going to check it out. more expensive and higher miles than i wanted, but its pretty nice.. lol
black on black 3.0 sports are hard to find, so carbon and nav is a big plus
it also has the suede inserts in the seats so it probably is oem
