Are the 2013 XF's backup cameras wired through front the parking sensors?
One parking sensor is cracked, which made all the other parking sensors not useable immediately (front and back). The backup camera worked once after this incident for about 5 seconds, but never again, and I started getting a notice on the centre screen at every start up saying "backup camera not available - consult dealer immediately".

Any guesses to if this Is this a whole separate issue with the backup camera, or could it be connected to the parking sensors.

Reason I ask is insurance is saying they aren't connected and won't pay for diagnostics on it and the bill is on me unless I can provide definitive proof they are interconnected(which I argued a lot for as it wasn't my fault - besides the point lol), so thought I'd get some advice before I book an appointment w/ Jag next week.
