Jaguar XE Error Codes Showing
I have a 2016 Jaguar XE 2.0L diesel automatic, which is showing the following error codes:
P0079 Exhaust valve control circuit low (bank 1)
P0598 Thermostat heater control - circuit low
P0342 Camshaft position sensor A - circuit low input (bank 1 or single sensor)
Anyone know what this combination of error codes means and what work will be required to clear them.
Thanks.

Interesting set of codes, per a search,
P0079- indicating a low voltage condition in the exhaust valve control solenoid circuit, which can lead to symptoms like an illuminated check engine light, rough idle, and decreased engine performance.
P0598 code indicates a problem with the thermostat heater control circuit being lower than the expected voltage level. Common cause is a Faulty thermostat
P0342 - Common causes include Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor: The sensor itself may be defective and not sending accurate signals to the ECM, Wiring issues: Damaged or corroded wiring connections can disrupt the signal from the sensor to the ECM,

I don't really see much in common except they seem to have a voltage relationship. I would first test the battery and charging system...
Beyond that we need someone smarter that I, to weigh in...

This doesn’t reference the exact camshaft position code you got, but it’s worth checking out. My petrol AJ20 had something similar early in its life and the dealer replaced components under warranty.
